The Steel Girder Cross

There's a man wrapped in a flag who polishes this plaque every day. The flag has the names of all the dead on it. 

 Great Falls, seen from the Maryland side. Got there at dusk after a few wonderful miles of scrambling through the woods, over boulders and down rock faces.
